Kim Kardashian's wedding is finally over, which is a big relief until you realize that the hype will start all over again when her four-hour wedding special airs inOctober. In the meantime, details about her big day will continue to leak, and there's already plenty to ridicule. Here are some of the reasons that Kim's wedding is one of the worst celebrity ceremonies the world has ever seen:
The Royal Wedding Rip-Offs
Kim's bridesmaids all wore stunning white gowns to her wedding, so it's hard not to think that the reality show star was blatantly copying Kate Middleton's bridal no-no. However, while her sisters all looked amazing, Kendall Jenner definitely played the part of Pippa Middleton -- many brides would kill to get married in the 15-year-old model's mermaid-style Vera Wang gown. And speaking of her royal hotness, Lindsay Lohan showed up to the ceremony wearing the sameTemperley gown Pippa donned for her sister's wedding reception. However, she opted for white over green, which is a good thing -- showing up in the color would have caused quite a scene since Kim told all of her guests to wear only black and white.
Getting Paid to Get Hitched
A woman and man are supposed to start out their new life together going broke by spending everything they've got on their wedding -- it's a true testament of their love, right? However, Kim's big day turned into a big payday -- she's raking in millions through exclusive wedding photos and her E! special, and of course companies have given her plenty of wedding goodies for free just for the publicity. It would be nice for Kim to realize just how atrocious all this opulence is and donate some of the cash to charity, but here's another more likely scenario -- her mother spends next season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" trying to break up her marriage, opening up the possibility for Kim to have another lucrative wedding in the future.
The Morning After: Kris Humphries Looks Like a Jerk
"Keeping Up With The Kardashians" fans might question Kim's judgment after seeing her hubby's behavior on the episode of the show that aired after their big day. Khloe Kardashian revealed that Humph (we'll call him that to avoid any confusion with Kris Jenner) once asked her if Kim's butt was the real deal. He also annoyed Khloe by asking if her marriage to Lamar was real or just for TV, and criticized Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick for not being affectionate enough. Worst of all, he made Kimmy cry when he threw her into the water during their Bora Bora vacation, making her lose a diamond earring (ladies, let this be a lesson to you -- leave your $75,000 earrings behind when going swimming in the ocean). And next week we learn that Humph had no idea that Kim's been married before (wonder if he knows about the sex tape?).
